Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

This policy explains what information QRFYOU ("we", "us") collects when you use qrfyou.com and our QR code services, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (or, if you sign in with Google, your Google account's name and email — we never see or store your Google password).

When you create QR codes, we store the content you configure (destination URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, UPI/payment details, contact-card fields, campaign names, etc.) so your dynamic QR codes keep working and can be edited later.

When someone scans one of your dynamic QR codes, we log scan analytics against that code: approximate device type, operating system, browser, referrer, and IP address. This powers the analytics dashboard you see for your own codes — we do not sell or share this data.

We also keep basic account activity such as last-login time, and any messages you send us through the "Talk to Sales" or support forms.

2. Cookies & local storage

QRFYOU stores your sign-in session in your browser's local storage (not a tracking cookie) so you stay logged in. On QR redirect pages shown to Free-plan codes, Google AdSense may set cookies to serve and measure ads — see Section 4.

3. How we use your information

4. Third-party services we use

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run QRFYOU, each of whom processes limited data strictly to provide their service to us:

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal or security reasons.

6. Your rights

You can access and update your account details at any time from Settings. To request deletion of your account and associated data, or to ask any question about your data, email us at support@qrfyou.com.

7. Children's privacy

QRFYOU is intended for business and personal use by adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves — for example, when payment processing goes live. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; significant changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice.

This is a standard privacy policy template reflecting what QRFYOU currently collects and uses. It isn't a substitute for legal advice — consider a professional review as the business grows or once paid billing goes live.
